Dr Patricia Revest did her PhD at King’s College London with Professor Peter Baker followed by many years working on the blood-brain barrier with Professor Joan Abbott. After joining the Physiology department at QMW in 1992, she has been Module lead for the Cardiorespiratory module and Head of Year 2 MMBS. She is now Head of Year 1 MBBS, Head of the E-learning Unit and Acting Head of Assessment . She is the author of a number of books including The Nervous System (Michael-Titus, Revest and Shortland) and is an editor and author of Medical Sciences (eds. Naish, Revest and Syndercombe-Court).
