Trevor was until recently Divisional and Deputy Medical Director at Barts and the London. He has since been awarded the status of Consultant Emeritus.
Trevor continues to work in medical education as a GMC Medical School Visitor and Assessor for PMETB Appeals. During the last 10 years he has been involved in performance appraisal, CPD and medical careers. He has given careers advice generally and for O&G in particular. He also continues to examine for Barts and the London SMD and for University of Aberdeen.
Trevor was elected Master of The Society of Apothecaries in August 2009 which is responsible for 9 medical diplomas - some compulsory for Deanery trainees.
He has also set up a new Diploma in conjunction with the Department of Health; the DFCASA (Diploma in the Forensic and Clinical Aspects of sexual assault).
Trevor lectures on the evolution of Medical Education at the RSM and on the History of Barts and the London Hospitals.
